Diet Journaling

This is a journal you can keep in conjunction with an exercise journal. Perhaps you may find it convenient to use one journal for both. In any event there's nothing more helpful than to keep a log of what you're eating and how much. Hey, if anything it will keep you true to yourself and on track with whatever program and goals you've set. Having a permanent log of what you've been eating is also a way to remember if years from now you want to revisit your dietary goal. Additionally, a diet journal allows you room to reflect and comment on your goals for personal health and other related life issues.

Here are some thoughts to get you started in Diet Journaling.

Some health disorders require very careful monitoring of food and diet intake and can seriously add to troubles of the soul. Make your diet journal a place not only for basic facts, but your thoughts and needs of any health concerns you might have.

Keep your diet journal close and nearby so that you are as honest with yourself as you can be. It will be a helpful instead of a "jail guard" if you treat it as a tool, not a dread task!
